I have never been good with answering…”so tell me a little more about yourself.” I always felt put on the spot and then I always gave stupid answers that were in no way related to what the question was really about. So, I have compiled a list of random things about me. I am sure to add more over time the more I think about it but enjoy what I have so far. I am learning more about myself everyday. It is a process called life! Kick off your shoes and stay awhile.
-I am from West Texas and reside in Muleshoe (very close to the New Mexico border). A few years ago, we were living in Southern Indiana. Crazy! We miss it there. It is so beautiful but we wouldn’t trade being closer to family.
-I am proud to say I am an authorized Envelopments Dealer/Designer. I love their line of paper and enclosures! Such wonderful quality and all the options are endless.
-I received a Bachelor of Interior Design with a Minor in Architecture from Texas Tech University in May 2004. I love residential design and would love the opportunity to make your space perfect for you.
-My husband, Eric, and I have been together for a total of 13 years and have now been married for 7 years. I love the journey we are on. Everyday just gets better and better.
-We welcomed our first child on December 13th, 2012. We named her Trinity Harlowe and she has made our lives better than we could ever imagine. We love her dearly!
-Then on April 12, 2015 we welcomed our second child to this world. We named him Owen Wyatt and we love the cute little red head (now blonde) so much! Did you know he weighed 11 pounds 5 ounces at birth?!?! CRAZY!
-Our third baby came 18 months after our son, Owen. We had a beautiful dark haired little girl named Everly Bristol on October 18th, 2016. She is such a happy baby and she definitely made us fall in love all over again.
-And…we did it again! We welcomed our fourth baby on March 22nd, 2018 and we named her Auburn Monroe. She has us wrapped around her finger.
-With 4 kids that are ages 5 and under, our days are crazy and chaotic.
-My Mom is one of my very best friends!
-I LOVE watching Dancing with the Stars and other shows like Criminal Minds, CSI, Castle and my favorite…I Love Lucy!
-Lemons and pickles make me salivate just looking at them.
-I have a paper addiction…seriously!
-I collect I Love Lucy Barbie dolls.
-Antiquing is one of my favorite things to do…especially with my Mom.
-My name has been featured in The Knot North Carolina magazine for a wedding I did work for in the spring of 2012 as well as several blogs.
-I currently have one basset hound named Smitty.
-I have 4 nieces (Gracie, Riley, Brently and Trusslynn) and 4 nephews (Cameron, Cash, John and Braylon).
-Pillows are a weakness for me.
-My favorite color is green.
-Old doors and windows are one with my soul. Just imagine all the stories they can tell. I am not a fan of sanding them down or painting over them. Let them talk how they are. They are more interesting that way.
-I love puppy breath.
-I have 2 younger brothers (Adam and Cade).
-My all time favorite movie is the original Parent Trap.
-I have a collection of vintage soda pop bottles…51 to be exact. The graphics are amazing and the reason why I have so many!
-I’m a nail biter. Eek!
-People say I have tiny toes. It is true.
-I have the slowest metabolism and have a very hard time losing weight. It didn’t use to be this way. So very discouraging!
-Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and He definitely has made my life full.
-I have done five 5k’s and finished them all! One being the Spartan!!!
-I am a coffee addict. Is there a coffee anonymous out there?!
-If I were to change professions, I would be a veterinarian or pediatrician.
-I am not the biggest fan of red meat, however, I do like hamburgers.
