After getting engaged back in March, I wanted to ask my wedding party to be a part of my big day in a special way. I thought that I would do a dinner party and invite them all over, but with everyone’s crazy schedules it was not going to work out too well. So, I thought I would do it with two of my favorite things…graphic design and paper. 🙂 I met with each girl individually and presented them with a 2.5×3 Burnt Sugar metallic envelope with their names in a beautiful calligraphy script. Inside of the envelope holds a 2.5×3 French Roast Portable Pocket with a three layer insert. The bottom is an Envy metallic cardstock, layer two is a vintage polka dot graphic printed onto a natural linen cardstock and to top it off is my special message printed on a Raw Silk metallic cardstock. I also decided it needed to have a pink ribbon tied around the pocket. Another thing that makes me smile! Are you wandering who I asked?!? Well, I haven’t really shared that with anyone now that I think about it. Any guesses?
Okay…..now I will tell you.
Maid of Honor – Kara Gowin (My Precious! Need I say more? My fantabulous best friend.)
Matron of Honor – Vanessa Arnwine (My other best friend whom I love dearly.)
Bridesmaids – Tamra Cumbie (another best friend…we go back to kindergarten)
Holly Goebel (you guessed it…another best friend and partner in towels)
Lisa Britton (My friend that I feel like I have known my whole life!)
Somer Owen (Sister-in-law…married to my brother Adam. She has blessed me with two gorgeous nieces, Gracie and BB.)
Kendall Owen (Sister-in-law…married to my brother Cade. She has also blessed me with more gorgeous nieces, Riley and Trusslynn.)
So, I’m thinking that towels would be lovely as bridesmaid dresses. 😉
Yes, Holly….I think you are right! Haha! 😉
