FINALLY I can announce the second part of my big news. Eric has accepted a transfer position at the Cummins facilily in Clovis, New Mexico. What does this mean? Well, we will be moving VERY soon and we will be so much closer to family and friends. Yay!!!!! Also, this means that I am cutting off orders since it will be very difficult for me to work on things during the transition (I will post more details about this later). We are looking at living on the Texas side since Clovis is right on the border. Being Texans again is so exciting….although we have always been and always will be. Being able to raise my family in a place that is familiar to me is comforting and knowing all the help around us is a major component. Plus, being just a short drive away from everyone gives us peace of mind and less of a financial burden. Flights are SUPER expensive! It is pretty bittersweet since I have grown to really like Indiana but want to be closer to home. It is so pretty here with all the beautiful surroundings and just a short drive to several major cities. I have to be honest…we didn’t get out meeting lots of people like we had planned nor did we join a church home. So, the people I do know have come from the gym (Anytime Fitness) Eric and I are members of. Drew and Nate were the first ones I met and I instantly knew I was going to like it there. They were both so friendly. Shortly after joining, I signed up for personal training. I recommend it to everyone! Hillary was my trainer until recently (She is going back to nursing school! Yay!) and I cannot tell you all enough how much she has meant to me while living here. From working me out hard to being supportive along my journey, she will always remain a lifelong friend to me. I am now training with Hillary’s fiance, Corey, and he has been great. He is such a wonderful guy and he has been pushing me to do my best. I have learned some new things and just like Hillary’s sessions…I am sore after every training session. 🙂
Yay!!! Y’all are going to be back in God’s country again. I know there are wonderful places outside of Texas, but they just aren’t home. Congratulations on all your tidings and I am so excited you will be closer to Dallas too. Keep us all posted on you, Eric and baby…much love, Janice
