I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie and Corey on their wedding invitations after Corey was so gracious to help us out on our wedding by doing the videography. I just wish I would have been able to attend their big event known as the Knipe Knuptuals. Being so far from home makes it hard to get back much but I did get to see photographs of their big day so you should go check it out on Lauren Clark’s blog HERE. Everything looked so fun!! Corey envisioned vintage Vegas with the Rat Pack while Stephanie wanted to evoke the feeling of Burlap and Diamonds. Meshing the two took me a little while as I sketched their layout and played with graphics and all the selections of paper that they had picked to work with. Below are the final two designs that I worked up for the couple and when they made their decision I was stoked! They opted to do a 1/2 and 1/2 order and have both designs. How fun is that?!?!
The following invitation is comprised of Envelopments paper which include the following: Pyrite Metallic envelope, Black Matte Cardstock, Pyrite Metallic Cardstock, Green Tea Matte Cardstock, Pyrite Repousse Metallic Cardstock, Ruby Metallic Cardstock and wrapped with burlap and black satin ribbon.
The below invitation design uses the following Envelopments paper goodies: Burnt Sugar Metallic envelope, Black Matte Cardstock, Pyrite Metallic Cardstock, Cactus Textured Metallic Cardstock, Black Linen Matte Cardstock, Majestic Brocade Metallic Cardstock and wrapped with burlap and black satin ribbon.
Stephanie wanted a square flat panel notecard for her wedding stationary and the image below is what she picked out from several designs that I sent her. It is printed onto an Ecru Metallic Cardstock and paired with matching metallic envelopes.
